Inkwell's first exploration.
That first night, after I got back from my late job, I let the kitten wander the house. He was interested in the new place.

Inkwell also settled on Eric's lap. Well, if by 'settled' you mean jumping around investigating everything.

The next day, the kitten was showing signs of a problem in his left eye. Just a tendency to wink.

New favorite perch.
While Inky seemed to like his humans, he was definitely not feeling well. I took him back to the vet when his eye got worse.

Resting spot
With only a tiny bathroom to wander in during the day, Inkwell quickly discovered that the sink is a good cat bed.

Door!
Terrified of all the cat toys I got for him, he found joy in playing with the bathroom door.

Door! Again!
I put him in the bathroom and nearly closed the door, and he played until he opened the door, then scratched along the door for quite some time.
I settled in the beanbag chair at the top of the stairs to watch the fun.
